About Country Fresh Cleaning
Welcome to Country Fresh Cleaning of Orange County! I’m Shannon Carroll (my friends call me Shay), owner/operator of this business. I established Country Fresh in 1993 as a single mother trying to make ends meet. I knew I could make Country Fresh Cleaning grow. I mean, it was easy to see: who wants to clean after a hard day’s work? Who wants to clean after going to soccer practice or dance classes for their children, plus cooking dinner too?
We are here to help you in all your cleaning needs. Whether it’s helping you after your exhausting day to make your home life easier, or maybe you need:
- Our Move-in Special when you are moving to a new home.
- Or maybe you are a realtor, and would like to gift your client a cleaning for a house warming present or may an open house you’re preparing for
- How about you just got a kitchen re-modeled and all that dust is everywhere in your cabinets and dishes. Well, we also provide construction cleaning for those type of needs
- How about you’re throwing a partying and you would like to enjoy your party but you can’t because you know how big of a mess there is going to be after everyone leaves. No sweat! We can clean up during party, or after, and of course help before with set-up if you need that too.

ABOUT OUR STAFF
Of course our staff is finger printed and background checked as a condition of hiring, and we follow random drug testing too. We love our staff members, but we want you –our clients—to feel completely secure in your choice of using us. All of our new employees do have to take a classes, provided by Country Fresh Cleaning, so that they know certain tiles and wood require specific cleaning products. As they progress in their training, they have to work with an experienced, skilled cleaner for months before they are set free to clean on their own.
All employees will be wearing productive gloves, mask and may wear goggles where the situation calls for it.
THE ROTATION SYSTEM
I started this company as a single mom scraping by. I’ve been fortunate to have had some success, and in giving back, I seek to hire women like me…good people who are solid cleaners, and are committed to succeed like I am. We hire a lot of single moms for our staff, as a way for me to help others who want to help themselves. So, Yes! I’m “paying it forward” to my employees from where I started from all those years ago.
To help single moms, we set up a very unique system that works for everyone: Each week, one of our single parent cleaning staff stays home to watch the children of our other staff members while they are out cleaning. This follows a rotation every day, so every single mother gets a chance to earn a living, while at the same time not having the burden of paying for childcare. It’s a win-win for them, and it’s a win-win for me too. Happy staff is effective staff!
